Registration for AAA and Majors closes soon, and your player must attend a player evaluation on Sat. Feb 4, 2023 or Sat Feb 12, 2023 to play AAA or Majors.
Questions about player evaluations?
Chico Central Little League now asks all players who are Baseball Age 9 through 12 to participate in player evaluations. A player’s baseball age is determined by how old they will be on August 31, 2023 (see here for more info on Baseball age).
We know that some of the Baseball age 9 year-olds may register for AA, but we ask that those 9 year old also participate. No player will be moved to another division without parental contact and consent.
The schedule for evaluations is:
Saturday, February 4, 2023 ONLY at Mavericks Facility (No cleats, No bags, players only need helmet, glove, bat)
1-130pm – age 9 and under with player last names starting with A-K
130-2pm – age 9 and under with player last names starting with L-Z
2-230pm – AAA age 10+ with player last names starting with A-H
230-2pm – AAA age 10+ with player last names starting with I-Z
3-330pm – Majors 11-12 with player last names starting with A-G
330-4pm – Majors 11-12 with player last names starting with H-Z
Sat February 11th TDB
At evaluations each player will receive three fly balls, three grounders, throw three pitches, and get three swings at the plate.
